In spite of a mostly positive stay, unfortunately, my stay ended on a disappointing note. I requested and paid for a one-night extension of my booking. While my original reservation included breakfast, the extension did not and I was never informed of this difference despite interacting with multiple staff members, including two who asked my room number for breakfast on the final morning. The surprise breakfast charge at checkout felt like an avoidable miscommunication and left a sour impression after an otherwise good stay, especially after the staff did not admitted it as an unsolicited or surprise sales. I hope the hotel improves communication around booking extensions and inclusions and most importantly inform the guests if breakfast is not included when they welcome them to the breakfast area and check their room numbers to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Very poor room cleaning service. This is our third night. The hotel insists on an environmental policy, basically they don’t clean your room unless you leave a sign. They don’t change or remove used cups, they don’t refill the coffee capsules. You leave the AC off just to return at night to a 17C room… all day on? Today we have arrived and found my night gown on the floor. Tiny rooms and poor service for a 200€/night minimum…

Great location. Lots of restaurants and shops. Close to transportation. Charming neighborhood with cobblestone streets. You need to know that it gets loud at night since it’s a popular spot. Also, the rooms are extremely small but it won’t stop me from staying there again.

We loved our stay in Hotel Apolonia. We stayed in the new rooms connected to the courtyard. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel felt safe and secure. It was odd that the entire bathroom was basically a shower, with no shower screen blocking the water from spraying onto the toilet and sink, however we grew accustomed to this and preferred it to a tiny shower cubicle! The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. Great location for exploring Montmartre and the rest of Paris!

My stay at Hotel Apolonia was really lovely. The team who worked there were all really nice, especially the two guys when I checked in (2pm Friday 13 March). I had a small issue with the room and they were straight on it and got it resolved super quickly with no drama. I really can't fault the service and support. The location was perfect for me and I explored Central & Northern Paris on foot using it as a base. It's so near public transport options, but I didn't need them. I just walked up from Eurostar. The rooms were small as people mentioned, but really reasonably priced for the location, spotlessly clean. As a solo traveller, they took the requests I made into consideration when allocating me a room, which I really appreciated. I had a little juliet balconette when I opened the windows wide and it looked onto the cute apartment block on the otherside of the road which was nice. There was a bit of noise from the street in the evening, but I always travel with earplugs so didn't bother me in the slightest. If you are going to stay fairly centrally in Montmartre near some great places to eat and drink, there is likely to be some people traffic. It also felt incredibly safe and even though I was on my own I was comfortable walking back at midnight. I would absolutely choose the hotel again next time I return to Paris. Also for any vegan travellers it's only minutes away from the nearest Land & Monkeys for tasty vegan patisserie and boulangerie treats.
