Reviews
The hotel has some positives, especially its excellent location. There are plenty of things to do nearby, and access to the metro is convenient, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were also helpful, courteous, and pleasant throughout our stay. However, there were several drawbacks. The property is not ADA compliant, and guests should be aware that many rooms require navigating steep stairs. The stairs leading to the rooms also felt unsafe at times. While the hotel does not advertise air conditioning, some rooms did not even have fans available, which made the rooms uncomfortable during warmer weather. Additionally, our room was not ready until more than an hour after the stated check-in time. Overall, the location and staff were the highlights of our stay, but the accessibility issues, stair safety concerns, and delayed room availability impacted our experience.
i think it is one of the best cheap hotels in Paris for its price! we payed €420 with taxes for two people for 5 nights! the location was perfect, although I saw hundreds of tiktoks saying don't stay in some areas (including this one). yes, in the square next to the hotel it was a bit trashy and not the best looking people, but it is safe! we (2 girls) walked around even at 11 pm while looking for food hahah. there is plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. plus a supermarket proxi and a nice bakery right next to the hotel entrance. we enjoyed that area. the metro station was 2 mins away so it was extremely easy to get to any place. huge advantage is - no bed bugs! at least in our room #14. i was so afraid of the bed bugs, but thanks god we didn't find any. we even got a separate hair dryer in the toilet! the room also has a little fridge, kettle and 2 cups. they provide 1 big towel for a person, and renew them every 2-3 days. the bea linens and towels were clean. overall the room was clean. the toilet was completely renovated with everything newly installed (sorry i forgot to take a picture of the bathroom, but trust me it was modern and new) so it was perfect. we had no problems with hot water or water pressure, which i found rare in cheap hotels. there were two workers at the reception during our stay, one was more talkative and the other was completely quite, but its fine • they also have a super cute cat! they also allowed us to leave our bags both before the chech in and after ckeck out. and also we were lucky they allowed us to check in at 11 am! unfortunately, we saw no cleaning during our stay. it could be a little more deeply cleaned in the bathroom.
Pros: cost; location is good even though far away from attractions, it's very near metro station; there's a bakery right next door (excellent!); beds are comfortable Cons: room is extremely small with little storage; no washcloths are provided; room service is minimal; front desk speaks very limited English
Absolutely awesome place. Super clean, nice lobby downstairs. Room was #19, Two floors with nice chairs, huge window, awesome bath with rainfall shower, everything new and remodeled. Phenomenal. And the pricing was spectacular. Will come back many times over. Earlier reviews were before remodel. New place now.
