Very nice hotel, lovely area, quiet room at night, staff very friendly, clean and perfect for a short break
A stylish, characterful room with a wonderfully Parisian feel. Comfortable, clean and full of charm - the perfect base for exploring Montmartre. Our room at Hotel Du Beaumont perfectly matched the character of Montmartre. Rather than feeling like another generic hotel room, it had its own personality. The décor is bold and theatrical, with deep burgundy walls, rich fabrics and beautiful wallpaper featuring peacocks and botanical designs. It feels cosy, intimate and a little bit decadent - very much in keeping with the nearby Moulin Rouge. The lighting is deliberately soft, creating a warm atmosphere in the evening, although it does make the room feel quite dark during the day. The bed was comfortable, with crisp white bedding that contrasted nicely against the darker colours of the room, and we both slept well after a long day exploring Paris. Although the room isn’t particularly large, the space has been used well, with hanging storage, a desk area and enough room for a short city break. The bathroom continued the boutique feel, with black tiles and decorative feature panels giving it a stylish look. The shower had good pressure, there was plenty of hot water, and everything was clean and well maintained. One of the nicest touches was how individual the room felt. It doesn’t have the clinical feel of a chain hotel - instead it has charm, character and a distinctly Parisian atmosphere. The only slight downside is that, because of the dark décor and lighting, the room can feel a little enclosed, and if you’re someone who prefers bright, airy spaces, it may not be to your taste. Storage is also fairly limited if you’re staying for more than a few nights. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with plenty of personality in a fantastic location just moments from the Moulin Rouge and the cafés of Montmartre, Hotel Du Beaumont is a lovely choice.
Great old style rooms with fridge nice king-size bed no top sheet, must be European thing I'm Australian 😀
I booked and payed for a Superior Room but I am certain we got a Standard as it was small and not as nice as shown in the pictures (also next to the elevator). The water in the shower was boiling hot and it was nearly impossible to adjust it. The aircon switched to heating mode in the middle of the night - resulting in over 28 degrees and both me an my friend waking up covered in sweat. Additonally, we asked for 1 hour later check out - first person told us he will check with the cleaning lady. Did not happen and the next person approved the request but only after paying EUR 20.-. The only nice thing is the location. Would not recommend.
