For the price and age of the property, I was very pleased with Hotel Rochechouart. The rooms and property as a whole gives a romantic, Old Parisian vibe. And all is clean and well cared for. The on premises food offerings were superb, including the rooftop bar, which cannot be missed for a view of a sunset over Paris, watching Eiffel shine in it’s glory. And access to the Metro here is a breeze. Very close to many good pubs, brasseries along with really superb Indian, doner and other great selections. Be sure to check out Montemarte, which is very close and also provides incredible views of the city. Go early in the morning!
We adored staying at this hotel. Our room was the Sacre Coeur Suite on the 8th floor. It was wonderful, with 2 sets of operable windows that opened to gorgeous views including the Sacre Coeur. The bathroom was small but very nice, and the extra sitting room with a daybed proved to be one of our favorite spots to hang out The hotel breakfast was incredible! There were so many healthy options, and the Maggie restaurant setting was super charming. The Maggie Rooftop Bar is not to be missed! We sat there for hours each time we visited. The staff was extremely helpful. We certainly hope to stay here again.
Everything at the hotel was perfect, views from the room were beautiful - we stayed on the 8th floor and could see both the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour from our room. The service was incredibly kind and always ready to help with any need, especially at the front desk. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Hotel Rochechouart. Such a lovely, boutique hotel that pays special attention to the littlest of details. From the decor, to the fresh Madelines delivered upon check in, to the surprise rooftop patio and bar...every touch is well thought out and perfectly executed. The staff was very warm and welcoming and accomodated an early check in after a long TransAtlantic flight with little girls. The rooms are small...but to be expected in a boutique hotel in Paris! We highly recommend staying here!
Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, very kind, very responsiveRoom was good size for Paris. Some have very dark brown green walls – in future I would ask for a white walled room. We had a very good set of windows that opened onto a narrow balcony, but great for fresh air. Some people love this neighborhood. It was not my favorite but well located for visiting Monmartre without the crowds. Great view from rooftop bar.
