Tourist trap. The food was average at best — I ordered the shakshuka and it was merely edible. What bothered me more was the bill: the menu listed €19, but I was charged €21.50. When I questioned the difference, I was told it was for pita bread — bread I never ordered, which they simply placed on the table alongside my dish. If they’re adding surprise charges to someone who’s French and checks their bill, I can only imagine what happens to tourists who don’t speak the language well enough to contest theirs. Paris is full of delicious restaurants. This is no it.
Staff is amazingly friendly! We were looking for a place to eat on a Monday evening and this fit the bill. Delicious food and friendly service made for a wonderful dinner :)
