Gotta give major 6-star props to HSP and the owner Victor for an amazing evening of great food, service, and the delicious lemon and mint digestif shots. It's rare to talk to restaurant owners and staff, but when you do, it's even more rare to find someone who believes that a dining experience should be like inviting friends into your house. This is what dining at HSP was like - staff who were very cordial, patient, and welcoming, together with fresh, quality food timed perfectly in a relaxing place. Wish I took some pictures, but sometimes you're enjoying the perfect present :)
The Oysters were of the highest quality. Owner Victor took the time on a busy Saturday evening to explain how Oysters are farmed over a 3 year period plus how Oysters are rated based on size (he mentioned that the rating system is not logic going from 5 as the smallest to 0, or 00 or 000 as the biggest). Nevertheless, this makes you appreciate each of these wonderful fruits de mer a little bit more. A wonderful dinner experience and we can´t wait to come again.
The oysters were divine, but if you prefer your fish on the tender side perhaps ask the chef to undercook the fish dish you order. The scallops on the other hand were perfect, one of the best I’ve had.
