Cannot recommend this place enough, seeing a cheap set menu in a tourist area I wasn’t expecting much - but this ended up being our groups favourite place to eat. Everything on the €20 set menu was delicious, service was great, genuinely the best duck confit I had on our trip. The main waiter was kind, gave good service and gave us a free cocktail when we returned for another meal as a thank you for choosing them again. Other members in the group raved about the carbonara and the nicoise salad.
An unplanned lunch here was amoung the best meals we had in Paris, and certainly the most reasonably priced. Restaurant is charming, service was excellent, food was great, and the AC was appreciated on a very hot day. A very pleasant surprise.
Lovely to come across this beautiful parisian restaurant close to the caveau de huchette and many other attractions as the Notre Damn. Myself,daughter ad her friend enjoyed Menu A 20 Euros and a bottle of red wine. The service food and location 5/5 The waiter polite and friendly daughter tried snails for the first time. No complaints loved our little trip to Paris and this restaurant. Highly recommended and thank you was lovely to meet you all and have lovely food and a lovely evening. Saturday, 20 December 2025 20 € Menu Italian salad, grilled salmon with rice, and tiramisu Food: 4/5 Very Good. The Italian salad had large flavorful slices of tomato and thick delicious slices of mozzarella cheese. The lettuce was crisp and tasty. The salmon was expertly cooked with a firm but flaky crust. The tiramisu was light and creamy BUT the coffee flavor was too delicate. It was a hint of coffee, and it needs to be bolder. Service: 5/5 Excellent. The waiter was polite and professional. Ambience: 4/5 Very Good. The interior decoration and furniture are very elegant especially for the Latin Quarter. Dark wood paneling provides a nice contrast to the cream upholstered chairs and white linen tablecloths. There is a red-headed Italian woman who walks around the restaurant and is very vocally loud. If she is the manager, she needs to either reduce her floor appearances or learn to speak quieter. Her presence is very disruptive at times. Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent. Everything appeared clean and tidy. The toilettes were sparkling and smelled of fresh lemon. Value: 5/5 Excellent. 20 € for the high quality and generous quantity of food. Overall: 4.6/5 Excellent. I will definitely return here again for dinner. I will try a different dessert, and if the Italian woman stays hidden, I would rate this 5/5 perfect excellent.
