Excellent tapas. I really loved the cured beef, slightly smoked. Excellent wine list. A perfect light supper.
Lovely little wine bar located in the heart of Montmartre just a stones throw away from the famous Sacred Heart. Beautiful décor and really cosy vibe. The owners Julien & Míriam were very friendly and knowledgeable on wine and recommended some amazing pairings with their selection of tapas. Ideal place to visit for pre dinner drinks, a casual aperitif or after dinner drink.
Precisely what I am looking for when I think “wine bar”. My wife and I strolled past this gem and decided to stop in. We sat outside and ordered the mixed board (meats & cheeses), the sardines crostini and a few glasses of wine. Superb. The food was excellent, the wine was exceptional, and the service was top notch. I wish we lived in the area so that this could be our regular spot. Très bien!!
Where to start with this absolute gem of a wine bar…. The seating is extremely comfortable, important after a day of walking and sightseeing! The charcuterie board featured a large variety of cheese and meats. They had even managed to find a Brie with truffle that I found to be delicious - and I normally hate truffle. The wines - an exceptionally well thought out wine list with delicious wines at reasonable prices. The owners were knowledgeable about their menu and were happy to share tasting notes and make recommendations. An excellent place for those with no knowledge of French wines and people wishing to expand on what they already know and like. But as excellent as the food and wines are, WOW, the service is unbelievably good. A husband and wife team own and run the bar, they were happy to share their wine expertise, their knowledge of the local and wider Parisian area and their time with us. We shall definitely return before we leave Paris and I hope you read this review and visit. You’d be silly not too!
We have just left this bar and have been blown away by the wine, food and service. Miriam and her partner went above and beyond, even refilling my glass of wine for free after I managed to spill it all over myself (in my defence, we were just discussing and gesticulating about a group of people who had asked for Prosecco at a bar in Paris 🤦♂️). And as the table we had been sat at for a while had a reservation pending, they apologised we had to move and invited us into the bar inside for two further complimentary glasses of wine. This place comes highly recommended.
