Nice vibe and atmosphere, but my experience with the security staff completely ruined it. My brother and I had been sitting there for almost two hours, ordering drinks and consuming normally. He was wearing a cap from the moment we entered, and no one mentioned it at the door. What made the situation even more confusing was that there were other people inside wearing caps as well. A security guard suddenly approached us and aggressively told my brother to remove his cap and go outside. My brother does not speak French well and did not understand what was happening, so I intervened in French to ask for an explanation. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, the guard started shouting at me, mocked my French grammar, and made comments about us being foreigners. At that point, it genuinely felt like we were being treated differently because we were foreigners. The guard's attitude became increasingly hostile, and rather than trying to communicate, he chose to humiliate us for not speaking perfect French. When we left, the guard also pushed into me. Whether intentional or not, it added to an already intimidating and unpleasant experience. It is a shame because the venue itself has a nice atmosphere, but the behavior of the security staff made us feel unwelcome. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place to tourists, foreigners, or anyone who does not speak fluent French, as there is a real risk of being treated disrespectfully and made to feel unwelcome.
I was there during the midnight runners event. Its a nice bar with obviously pirces that match this area of the city. Overall nice happy bar. They've got tv screens around so you can watch matches and their drinks are actually nice. I had Caipi for the first time iny life and it was amazing :D
