This is a bar full of stories from people belonging to different ethnicities from across the world. The vibe here is unmatched and the bar owner (Taha) makes sure to add his own special touch to the drinks he serves and the stories he narrates Definitely visiting again whenever I visit Paris next!
Dissident Club is one of those rare places that feels both lively and genuinely warm. The atmosphere is convivial, the crowd is friendly, and there is a real sense of openness and good vibes throughout the evening. The music is great and adds so much character to the space. It is the kind of place where you can enjoy a drink, soak in the energy, and easily end up staying much longer than planned. Highly recommended.
I performed here on a Tuesday spoken word night hosted by Alissa Leeds. Fun and receptive crowd, very inductive to jumping in and testing out poetry or comedy ideas. Friendly crowd, inviting ambiance and Marco is cool to talk to at the bar.
This is as underground as it gets! It's a place with a purpose for humanity and aspiring jazz artist. Affordable drinks and happy hour . Owner from Pakistan, kind and funny ..Very dirty bathroom and only one.
I was looking for a chill bar in the area to spend a drizzly night. The back story of this place and the reviews drew me in. I also appreciated that the owner updates the "updates" section here on google with upcoming musical performances etc. Decided to go early (right at open) to get some happy hour beers and to grab a few shots on my camera :) Place is snug, ambiance is cozy, lighting is great, and the attracted crowds are diverse, calm, and from all walks. There's a few couches in the back that are prime for sharing a drink or viewing the performances.
