This seafood restaurant located near Moulin Rouge got my attention when I was looking for dinner options. Our first attempt was unlucky as they were fully booked. The second attempt the next day was a better hit as we got a table at 19:30. The reviews said this place is good, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good and fresh everything in reality was. The service was excellent and fast and the food was delicious. We took two seafood platters (Grand Pirouais and P’tit Pirouais) which was extremely fresh and also great value for money. The oysters, whelks and shrimps are divine and the rillettes were very tasty with the slices of bread. We added extra portions oysters with the ‘Happy Huîtres’ and a couple of beers. This is an address to remember for the next time! 😄
Best place for oysters in Paris! I've been there more than 10 times and sent all my friends visiting Paris to enjoy the oysters. I recommend the They bring the oysters from Normandie where they cultivate them, they are super fresh and to be fair, even if it might sound naive, when you try one you almost feel the ocean freshness in your body. I love the atmosphere of the place which is getting even better when the little dog of the owner appears :) Try the huitres with a glass of wine and get them at best price between 18h-20h. Enjoy this experience!
We visited the restaurant around 8:30 pm without a reservation and were lucky that there was still a table available. There was only one waitress on the floor, but she was very attentive. Knowing that we were visitors, she patiently recommended and explained the dishes to us. Because we enjoyed the experience, we returned the following evening with friends and made an earlier reservation at 6:00 pm. The seafood platter offers great value and was very fresh, especially the oysters and the prawns. The prawns were particularly sweet and flavorful. The cod fritters were also very tasty. The other dishes were decent overall, though nothing particularly outstanding. The only downside was that the seating felt a bit cramped and the restaurant could get quite noisy.
Perlouse in Paris is a true seafood lover’s dream: simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The oysters were outstanding, briny and perfectly fresh, and the salmon tartare and sea bass tartare were beautifully prepared, light, and full of flavour. The fresh shrimps were the perfect finishing touch - sweet, tender, and clearly top quality. The whole experience feels relaxed and unfussy, letting the ingredients really shine. Great products, great atmosphere, and a spot you’ll want to come back to whenever you’re craving excellent seafood in Paris.
