The hotel is absolutely lovely. The family suite setup was perfect for our family. The rooms are very pretty, spacious and the AC worked really well, which was key during the heat wave. The staff was very nice, and gave us some wonderful recommendations.
I believe security is a big concern and problem in the hotel. We put a hotel room card in the socket in order to turn on the lights. However, on the first day we came. While we were sleeping from 3-8 pm, someone came into our room without our notice. We only realised this when we woke up and found that the room card in the socket was missing. We went to the front desk and told the staff. They mentioned that this could be related to the housekeeping. They just gave me another room card. On the second day, I put a gift card from a departmental store in Hong Kong into the socket instead of the room card. I left the hotel at around 10 a.m. To our surprise, the card was disappeared when we went back hotel by around 6 pm. The card was important to us as this was a kind of money stored card for future purchases. We went to the front desk telling the staff this incident. He could not identify who came to our room and who did the room service. They said they would try to find out what happened. On the next day, we talked to the manager about this. Then, we realised that almost all staff got keys that can gain access to all the rooms and there was no record of who had come to our room. She actually would not be able to tell who was the one doing the room service on these two days, even after talking to the housekeepings. This gave us a very insecure feelings for staying in this hotel. Although they prevented us from going to other floors, anybody working in the hotel was able to go into our room without being recorded. Hypothetically, we could be killed without being noticed, while we were sleeping. The manager then looked at the CCTV and identified only the cleaners went into our room. Obviously, nobody would admit for the responsibility. Finally, we still could not get back our gift card. We could not do anything but had to leave the hotel and continue our holidays.
This place absolutely made our trip in Paris. It's truly a five star experience all the way around. I cannot say enough about how accommodating, cheerful, and resourceful the staff-and in particular both of the concierges-were for us during our stay. The rooms are exquisite and the air conditioning REALLY works. The lobby and bar and just lovely and the location is ideal for shopping some of the best spots in the City. If I could give it six stars I would. Just an outstanding hotel.
Morgan at the concierge was incredibly helpful and gave us great local recommendations—very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The check-in experience was excellent, with a warm smile that made us feel comfortable right away. Thank you Thorgan! We also loved the double windows connected to the balcony—they provided great soundproofing, making the room quiet and relaxing despite being in the city. We discovered this hotel through the Michelin Guide, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience were excellent. Good breakfast options too! I would absolutely stay here again. Five stars!
Absolutely FANTASTIC little hotel in a great part of Paris! The rooms were quaint and beautiful with little added touches like a heated bathroom floor and heated toilet seat. I especially enjoyed the endless amount of meringue by the water station. The staff always said hello and goodbye and the attentive housekeeping staff always made sure you had what you needed! The breakfast was always great with a variety of options and the drinks in the evening were excellent. Great place to stay!
