Hôtel Lancaster Paris Champs Elysées

The location, the hotel itself and especially the team made our stay, that much more special. Our room was very spacious, the breakfast (although not vegan) they were able to accommodate. They had this fantastic eggplant and mushroom sauté dish, in addition to avocado toast a wonderful salad and other fabulous things, thank you chef!!!! The front desk were super helpful in assisting us with activities especially visiting the top of the Eiffel Tower which was spectacular. If you can swing it, this was a great first stop on our French adventure. Thank you.
Our stay at the Hôtel Lancaster was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is impeccably clean, and every detail reflects a high standard of care and elegance. Room service was consistently excellent—prompt, polished, and of outstanding quality. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The staff are not only incredibly kind, but also professional, attentive, and clearly very well-trained. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. A special mention goes to the concierge, who went above and beyond to help us recover a lost reservation at Le Jules Verne after we missed the confirmation. He took the time to call them directly and managed to secure it again for us—something we truly appreciated. The hotel also made our stay seamless in small but meaningful ways. For example, they kindly held our shopping bag safely at the front desk while we were out, which made exploring the city much easier. We also loved the amenities: a charming outdoor area where my husband and brother-in-law could enjoy cigars, a bar with a great selection, and a breakfast buffet that was both generous and delicious. On top of everything, the location is perfect—central and convenient for exploring Paris. We genuinely have no words to fully capture how wonderful this stay was. Highly recommended.
I was at the Lancaster with my fiancé during Valentine’s weekend 2026 and it was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed at a few luxury 5 star hotels in Europe before and the service and friendliness from the staff here are better than those 5 star hotels. The room we got was so spacious. For the first time in my travel I did not have to worry about laying out my luggages and trying to walk around it. It was as if we got a penthouse suite (we didn’t)! The hotel feels very high end and it’s super close to the metro stop. 10/10!
Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Paris luxury shopping district. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is professional, curteous, and warm. The rooms are spectacular. I booked through American Express and received a lovely room upgrade and a complimentary welcome bottle of champagne. The restaurant was lovely and happily accommodated my vegan traveling companion.
I would like to share my sincere disappointment following my recent stay at this hotel, billed as 5-star with room rates around €500 per night. First, I must commend the staff: the reception team, housekeeping (when present), room service, professional, courteous, and attentive. Their excellent service was the only positive aspect of the experience. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the room and the evident lack of proper maintenance and upkeep were deeply frustrating and fell far short of what one expects at this level and price: • A section of the bathtub was detached and missing, leaving an open gap that raised serious concerns about potential pests or hygiene issues. • Visible black mold was present on the shower seals — something incomprehensible and unacceptable in a property of this category. • The bathrobe was old, worn, and poorly maintained; the hanger it was on was also damaged and gave a very neglected impression. • A Coca-Cola bottle cap was lying on the floor near the window opening. • The baseboards at the bathroom entrance had protruding screws, creating a genuine risk of foot injury. • The pillows were of very basic quality (comparable to low-cost IKEA models at around €14), which felt completely out of place given the room rate. The hotel offered a glass of champagne as compensation, which I politely declined, as it did not adequately address the structural and maintenance shortcomings observed. This hotel appears outdated and insufficiently cared for, which does not align with its official 5-star rating or the high prices charged. I am genuinely frustrated by this mismatch and, regrettably, cannot recommend the property in its current state.
