Wonderful little hotel. We stayed for 19 nights in a deluxe twin share room on the 5th floor (elevator worked the whole time!) and loved the area, the convenience, and the staff. Absolutely safe, quiet, and immaculately clean hotel.
10/10 location, perfect for quickly getting to most of the top sites. The building is old and has quirks, for the price it is reasonable. The stairs are very steep but there is a small elevator for higher floors. If possible request a room on the 6th floor, the south room has views of Notre Dame, the north rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower.
Le Regent was a pleasant surprise! The receptionists were so charming and helpful. Our top-floor room, may have been a tad petite for those with a lot of luggage, was a sparkling clean haven with a sneak peek of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony and was ideal for our short stay. Breakfast, with crosaints delicious bread, yoghurt and tea was just right to fuel our Parisian shenanigans. We'd happily stay for an encore.
