Montmartre is like a village, and this tour takes you through all ends of our beloved village. You see the landmarks - like Moulin Rouge and Sacré Coeur and the views over Paris. You see the spots where the greatest artists painted some of their greatest works - Renoir, and Van Gogh, and Picasso etc. You rub elbows with the locals - the happy-living, Montmartrois. Their bars and cafés, the hidden gems they are so proud of etc. You experience the unique charm of Montmartre. We’ll tell you the stories: what the Cabaret of the assassins is about. How Montmartre became the birthplace of Impressionism - and Van Gogh - and Picasso. And even why so many locals actually hate their church of Sacré Coeur. The tour is in English, in a small group. Your guide is a local who makes sure we walk far from the crowds whenever possible. And we walk rain or shine. Our new 6:30 PM tour is the twilight-hour experience—when locals emerge and daytime crowds taper off. What is a small group? Our small group tours usually have around 12 people.
