A wonderful home base for my stay in Paris! The location is fantastic - very walkable and a short walk from the metro. Especially loved the small terrace and the complimentary coffee in the lobby! Would stay again, especially as a solo traveler.
We stayed at hotel Basss for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were First given a room on the 2nd floor with courtyard view. That room was very dark and with the window open you could smell the restaurant kitchen next door. However, we asked for another room with street view and got one on 5th floor. Big thanks to the friendly girl at frontdesk! That room was very nice. The rooms are small but as expected. The bathrooms are even smaller which can make it a challenge for taller people to sit properly on the toilet to be honest. Nevertheless, everything was clean and the entire staff very friendly. It’s nice that you can grab coffee, tea and filtered water for free 24hrs. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there are so many bakerys and breakfast options around the corner. The location in rue des abesses is great, with Montmartre at your feets, 3 Metro Stations within 5mins walking distance and lots of Restaurants and Shops around. Even though the hotel is located in a busy place, it was always quiet in the room at night. Definetely would come back.
Wanted to write a thank you to Niloufar and Laurence for their exceptional customer service. Super sweet and accommodating, both of them. A warm welcome to Paris (which doesnt necessarily have that reputation and has not been my experience previously.) I was here on a business trip and the rooms were very nice, clean and more spacious than I thought they would be.
I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Paris and wanting to tour around. It is very close to the metro. The town is absolutely beautiful with everything you need in walking distance. My daughter and I felt very safe. The rooms were clean, modern and had a comfortable bed. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We noticed that the population doubled in the weekend but I guess that’s to be expected:)
We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here. My boyfriend and I arrived last Monday morning and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Everyone we encountered working there made our stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic - close to many brasseries, shops, and historic spots while being within walking distance to two metro stops. We will definitely be back!
