This place is just truly special. We felt so welcomed from the moment we walked in - staff were always professional, kind, and efficient. The design details are so on point and was the main reason I booked this hotel. Every last detail is thoughtful and so chic! Beds are extremely comfortable, the AC works very well, and the bathroom design and amenities felt luxurious. 5th floor rooms have lovely balconies which was such a delightful surprise. The Le Marais neighborhood is super fun and walkable with TONS of amazing food and shopping. 10/10 will absolutely be back every year! ❤️
Hôtel Le Grand Mazarin was a beautiful hotel with a fun, slightly playful feel in an excellent location. We absolutely loved it. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully styled. Bed was comfy and it was dark and quiet for sleeping, with the exception of one night where there was a late party in the pavilion downstairs. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but the layout made it work. The bath, heated toilet seat/floors and Diptyque products were a lovely touch. The facilities managed to be even better than expected. The pool was, of course, gorgeous - and a good size and temperature. The sauna and spa were a really nice addition and very welcome after big days out. The gym was also great - large, well equipped, clean and very stylish. Service throughout the hotel - from the lobby to the restaurants - was polished, warm and helpful. And again, the design and atmosphere all the way through really worked. The location could not have been better. It was only a couple of minutes from the metro, so getting around was easy, but the Marais itself was one of our favourite parts of Paris - such a good mix of trendy shops, great food, parks, pretty buildings and pockets of real history. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very charming and comfortable, beautifully decorated. I assume all rooms are like that. It is not very common to have a bidet in France but we were pleasantly surprised to have it in our bathroom. You can’t beat the location, metro is very close, Seine is a short walk away. Tons of shops and restaurants around. Staff were very helpful. Definitely staying here again when we are back in Paris.
Stayed here for a long weekend for a delayed honeymoon and it was honestly the hotel of my dreams. From the moment we stepped in and was welcomed with champagne up until check out and help woth arranging taxi transfer, this hotel definitely deserved their 5 stars. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious and the colour scheme was perfection. The bed was so comfortable and whilst the heated seat on the toilet took some time to get used to, I now want one myself! The breakfast was delicious and a great mixture between being able to order food and helping yourself to the buffet offers. The pool area was so dreamy and relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi was potentially a tad cold, but the atmosphere helped me disconnect from the stress of traveling. The steam sauna was definitely the best part. After the gorgeously painted ceiling that I could spend hours looking at. The staff was very attentive and so nice and accommodating. It was easy to approach them if any concerns or help needed and they were quick to help bring things up to the room if needed. Location wise it was great too. Felt very safe walking around the neighborhood and it was easy access to most of Paris. I would 100% stay again, and it was worth every penny.
This hotel is just fabulous, start to finish. The reception desk—all the lovely people in purple—are so kind and welcoming. The rooms are unique, gorgeous, and high tech with heated floors and bidet toilets. The breakfast buffet is great - don’t miss the chocolate madelines. (If they are on the breakfast buffet, then they are for breakfast.) The location is near so many restaurants and a short walk to the Seine, but our room was quiet. Sitting outside and people watching with wine was the best! This is the sort of hotel to make us come back to Paris just to stay here!
