Great location. Good room. Bad bathroom. (This review is written by an American). The location is great. The metro is literally right outside, and provides the perfect base for Paris adventures. Plenty of little restaurants and cafes nearby. The area is safe. The room was small compared to rooms in the US, but not cramped. We stayed in a room with a queen and twin sofa bed with 3 adults. It didn’t feel cramped, but we did have to be mindful of our luggage. The room had great A/C and a helpful mini fridge. There were a few things we didn’t like, mostly related to the bathroom. No hooks to hang towels or toiletry bags. No hand towels or wash cloths, only large bath towels. And the tub/shower was difficult and dangerous to get in and out of. The edge of the tub was 2 ft high, and the tub floor itself was higher than the bathroom floor. This meant stepping down while getting out of a slippery tub and NO hand holds to help. The handles aren’t near the area to get in and out of the tub. I’m in my 30s and found it difficult. My parents in their 60s almost fell. This definitely needs to be addressed by the hotel. Hope this helps the next traveler.
Great location and friendly staff. It was so nice to be welcomed a hand written note from Sarah. However, the hotel is not very well maintained. The bathroom door had clearly been exposed to water and was quite damaged. In the shower cabin, there were black residues from accumulated dirt in a hidden corner (on the left of the shower tap). The coffee machine was not working, and the complimentary coffee capsules we used while trying to operate it were not replaced during the morning cleaning. The bathrooms have bathtubs that are mounted quite high, making it risky to get in and out. There is no secure grab bar to hold onto; the only support is a movable shower screen and the nearby door handle, which feels unsafe. If a manager would like to look into this matter, our room number was 320.
Great location, the metro is in front of the hotel entrance, how convent is that! Staff were very friendly and nice. Breakfast is good with various healthy options
Great location, next to a metro line with many direct connections including the Eiffel Tower. (Great for late night Tower runs!). Plenty of wonderful local restaurants in the area.
