I would consider the dishes in this restaurant so warm and thoughtful that they gave the impression of being made and served in someone's home. We had the butchers cut steak with fries and the beef with carrots served with tagliatelle. Everything was great, i would only make the smallest note about the fries being a little more cooked than we would like, but that happens and it didn't lessen the experience. The dessert and the wine were also very good and we enjoyed it very much. Our wairess was also very warm and helpful with everything.
Best meal of our Paris trip, hands down. We ordered three pastas and every one was great, but the Sauté de Porc au Chorizo sauce was on another level. The kind of sauce you quietly mop up with bread at the end because leaving even a drop would be a tragedy.
Overall: Warm service, quick turnaround, and absolutely delicious food. We’d definitely return and highly recommend this spot for a cozy, satisfying meal. My husband and I stopped by around 7:30 p.m. on a Thursday night. The restaurant was quiet, with no one seated outside and only a few guests upstairs. The host mentioned they closed at 8:30 and asked if we’d be okay with a shorter dinner, which we appreciated — we were tired and hungry from traveling and just wanted a good, hearty meal. It turned out to be an excellent dining experience. We ordered the beef linguine and the leek fondue with sea bass — both dishes were outstanding. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, freshly prepared and full of flavor. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. We also loved the thoughtful touches, like blankets on the outdoor chairs to keep guests warm as the evening cooled down. Card payments are accepted, which is always convenient.
