I was excited to book this hotel based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned properly and had a strong dusty smell. As someone who suffers from allergies, this triggered allergic rhinitis, and I spent the entire night sneezing and dealing with irritation and discomfort. The following day, I contacted the staff, who were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. They promptly moved me to another room, which was noticeably cleaner and had much better sound insulation than the first one. I appreciate their efforts to address the issue. However, throughout the rest of my stay, housekeeping remained a major concern. The room cleaning was below expectations. Housekeeping seemed to only replace towels without properly cleaning the room or bathroom. Even after I reported the issue, I noticed tissues left in the bathroom remained there after the room had supposedly been cleaned. This made me question the overall hygiene standards. In addition, some towels and bed linens appeared stained or marked despite being presented as clean, which further affected my confidence in the hotel's cleanliness. On the positive side, the location is excellent, with easy walking access to many nearby attractions, restaurants, and services. The staff were also consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, despite the great location and kind staff, the cleanliness and housekeeping standards need significant improvement. Because of this, I would not choose to stay here again.
My fiancé and I came to Paris for the May long weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and Hotel Gabbie made our trip even more special. The hotel is the perfect blend of charming Parisian character and modern comfort, and everything was impeccably clean. The location was convenient, safe, and made it easy to explore the city. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. We can't say enough about how kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly everyone was. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Gabbie to anyone visiting Paris.
I would like to congratulate the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and great availability. The room was given to me on time, the cleanliness was excellent, and the stay was truly pleasant. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service. I will definitely come back!
Great location! Minutes walk from the Arc de Triomph. Rooms were very clean and good sized. Staff was also very helpful. Would stay here again if in Paris.
