I visited Mikuna Rooftop in Paris during the summer, and it quickly became one of the city's most enjoyable rooftop experiences. Spread across two levels, the venue offers two distinct atmospheres. The lower rooftop provides a more relaxed setting, making it a great option for families or anyone looking for a quieter experience. Upstairs, the ambiance changes completely. With a DJ, stylish décor, and a lively crowd, the upper level feels vibrant, contemporary, and effortlessly Parisian. The panoramic views over the city, especially on a warm summer evening, create the perfect backdrop to enjoy a cocktail and watch the light gradually change over Paris. Whether you are looking for a laid-back afternoon or a more energetic sunset experience, Mikuna offers both in the same place. It is a rooftop that combines great atmosphere, beautiful views, and a modern take on Parisian nightlife.
We visited for sunset and late night cocktails on Saturday - the evening of the post-heatwave thunderstorm - and despite the weather causing a brief interlude to the night, we ended up having an amazing time and it made for a very atmospheric experience. We really liked our initial table, which had gorgeous views of Rue de Rivoli and the Eiffel Tower, and at first we were sad to have lost it as we were ushered inside. The staff were organised and and helpful at moving people inside whilst we waited for some of the extreme weather to pass. Once the storm calmed, we managed to return outside to a much-quieter-than-normal terrace, which was a luxury, and had an even better view whilst we watched the lightning dance across Paris. We mainly spent time on the 6th floor terrace before briefly visiting the more vibey bar upstairs, and so we'd love to return for drinks and a DJ set on the 7th floor rooftop next time. Would recommend.
I love this place. I was here in 2018 when it was called something else and I came back with great memories after 8 years. The vibe and layout etc changed, but it was nonetheless beautiful and most importantly the view is amazing. The first waiter tried to sit us in the back corner saying the other empty tables with the view (there were many) are all unavailable (which was a lie!). Then we met Pierre who immediately switched our table to one with the view. Pierre was absolutely lovely, kind and attentive! We had another great time here, thank you! :)
A great place to grab a drink and watch the sunset and people below. Haven't tried any food, so the ratings is purely for mocktails and the view.
