We stopped by after Sunday services at Notre Dame. Not knowing what to expect we were absolutely delighted and only with the service, but with the overall meal, we had a lovely soup with white asparagus and a cream sauce and then we had a whole Seabass with french fries butternut squash that was amazing and sautéed leeks. It was an absolute treat. I would highly recommend this along the boulevard across from Notre Dame Cathedral.
Although the place looks really nice and cozy, the food was very small not that tasty. It was served cold and the sauce that it came with wasn't good. We decided to skip dessert. I will say that they found us amazing wine, but besides that it's not a place I'd go back to.
Lovely gastronomic restaurant close to Seine. It’s in tourist area but even for local it’s great price and quality!!!! The food is fresh and creative!!! I ordered the entrée a dish of combination of mushroom (for autumn season of course), and inside there’s even salty ice-cream with flavor of mushroom!!! The flavor is amazing and I recommend all to try this amazing entrée!!! The main dishes are also super delicious and you can see the details of work and thought from chef inside. It’s definitely a chef with great passion to food. The restaurant is small and designed with taste. I love their seats face window that you can have beautiful view of Seine and Notre Dame. As local, I will definitely mark this place and come now and then. I have full expectation to their seasonal creative dishes!!!!
If I could give it a 6 star review I would. The service was great, so friendly and easy going and extremely knowledgeable. The food was fantastic - amazing flavours and creative combinations. We spent almost three hours taking our time to enjoy a very comfortable Friday night out. Try the wine, in fact they have hundreds to choose from. They will help you if you are not sure what you like and give you a small sample before pouring the glass. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Cheers to Comme Chai Toi, Michelin without the pomp and pretention.
