It was a cosy night, but the barman was very angry at us while we were buying a lot. Not Nice. We did not feel welcome at all.
A decent spot for a casual drink. The atmosphere is lively and the terrace is quite pleasant, especially in the evening. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area and there’s a good enough selection. Service can be a bit hit or miss depending on how busy it is, but overall it’s alright. Not the most memorable place, but perfectly fine if you’re in the neighbourhood and fancy a quick drink.
I've hung out here on two separate trips now and consider it a "must do" whenever I have a moment in Paris. They have great Belgian beers, and others, on tap. More so, the bartenders have been awesome and friendly every single time! Whether I am sitting outside in the dead of winter, with my heated gloves on, and people watching, or forced inside because the patio is too popular, it is a winner every time. Pro Tip: there is a fabulous crepe spot directly across the street...for when those heavy Belgians start to hit!
