Fantastic hotel! Very well located small and cosy hotel with beautiful view through the windows. Hotel staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast was great for such a small hotel. I haven’t got a single thing that I could complain about. I only spent two night there for a business trip and would be more than happy to always stay here when I visit Paris. Highly recommend.
Great location, but incredibly disappointing for $600 a night We recently booked a suite here for a 3-night stay. While I will say the location is fantastic and the beds and pillows are very comfortable, that is unfortunately where the positives end. The physical space was immediately disappointing. The entire hotel is disproportionately tiny—the entrance, lobby, corridors, and elevator are so cramped it almost feels like a dollhouse. Furthermore, our suite severely lacked natural light, the artificial lighting system was poor, and the building utilizes a highly impractical double-door security system (sas) just to enter. To make matters worse, at night you can actually hear and feel the subway vibrating through the walls. For $600 a night, the level of amenities is completely unacceptable. Basic items you would expect at a premium price point were nowhere to be found: no body lotion, bath salts, cotton pads, cotton buds, or even slippers. There wasn't a Bluetooth speaker in the room, and shockingly, no drinking water is provided in the suite—you have to go downstairs and fetch it yourself. Unsurprisingly, there was no turndown service either. Regarding the service, while the manager and most of the staff are perfectly nice, the hotel is severely understaffed. Because there are so few employees on duty at any given time, simple requests take ages to fulfill. For example, calling reception to ask for a hair dryer resulted in an incredibly long wait. When following up on these delays, the reception staff did not handle the situation nicely or with the professionalism you would expect at this price point. Ultimately, the experience is nowhere near on par with the exorbitant price tag. We will definitely not be returning.
We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with a bigger group of guests, and it is a true gem that I will return to again and again! The ambience is absolutely fantastic, the location is perfect, and the rooms are beautifully appointed and lovely. What truly elevates this hotel to another level, however, is the sublime service. A very special mention must go to the hotel manager, whose incredible warmth, charisma, and genuine hospitality set a magnificent tone for the entire experience. This genuine service and welcoming approach clearly run in the veins of the whole team; the entire staff possesses an exquisite and rare service spirit, combined with a sweetness and smiling kindness that you very seldom encounter. You truly feel completely at home here from the moment you step through the door. If it were possible, I would easily have given this place 6 stars. Highly, highly recommended!
I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I was traveling solo and the hotel felt very safe, the location was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They blocked a room with a shower ahead of time just as I requested. My room had a beautiful view of St. Augustine Church, a spacious balcony, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!"
Was everything I wanted esthetically. Cute boutique hotel and my room was quite spacious and loved my balcony/view. Hotel manager was the absolute sweetest in assisting me to get taxi after my Bolt driver was having difficulty getting to me. He was actually running down the street in his suit to grab the Bolt driver’s attention. Couldn’t have asked for better service- thanks to his help I was able to make my train to Luxembourg in time. Merci Boucoup!
