It's always interesting to read all the reviews to see the variety of experiences travelers have. My Mom and I had a wonderful stay at Maison Albar – Le Diamond in early June to celebrate my mom’s birthday. My BFF recommended the hotel and it did not disappoint. It’s located next to the Gare Saint-Lazare and a Saint Lazare Metro. It’s a short 10 minute walk to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette in one direction. And in another direction boutiques like Dior, Chanel, Prada, Hermes etc. on Rue Royale. If you're feeling ambitious, it's about a 30 minute walk to Musee D'Orsay. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. OK...back to the hotel It has great air conditioning! We missed the heatwave during the French Open and thankfully the terrible heatwave after we left. The lobby has a small bar and a restaurant where they serve a breakfast buffet. There is also a small inner courtyard/patio for dining. When we checked in were given a welcome cocktail. The staff is wonderful and the gentleman who showed us to our room let my mom talk his ear off. lol My mom speaks so French so it was an extended conversation. Since it was my Mom’s birthday, the hotel surprised her with champagne and macarons. Our room was an Executive Suite with a sofa bed. There was lots of space with a sitting area and desk. The room has French windows which open up to see Gare Saint-Lazare and you can hear the sounds of the city and people watch. The king size bed was super comfy and the sofa bed wasn’t too bad either. The bathroom was a bit too dark for my mom’s liking. The bathroom lighting is controlled by an app which was a bit tricky to figure out but once I did, I could change the color of the lighting in the shower. My 93-yr old mom was not impressed. She just wanted brighter lights. There is an in-room safe to store your valuables and a mini-fridge. My travel agent booked the hotel thru Delta Vacations. The breakfast buffet has lots of options that should satisfy most eaters. We also had afternoon cocktails and foie gras. The only thing tricky thing with the hotel is the main entrance is on a busy street with no parking in front so it can be tricky with unloading and loading luggage. Our car service dropped us off in front of the hotel but parked on a side street to pick us up for our return trip to CDG which was perfect since it was a busy Wed morning with rush hour traffic. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Paris.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a travel agent, I have the opportunity to experience many hotels, and Maison Albar Le Diamond exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was warm, seamless, and incredibly welcoming. The staff made us feel valued from the very beginning. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered the perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The location couldn’t have been better—close to so many of Paris’s iconic attractions and metro while still offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. Every detail reflected exceptional service and hospitality, making our stay truly unforgettable. I would confidently recommend Maison Albar Le Diamond to my clients, friends, and anyone planning a visit to Paris. Thank you for making our stay so special. I look forward to returning one day!

My family and I enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is very well situated in the 8th arr, a 20-minute walk to Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Tuileries gardens, etc. Although we were there as a family of four, the hotel is great for couples. Chic and romantic.

We had such an amazing stay at Maison Albar - Le Diamond. Honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better for our trip. The location is what really made it perfect. It’s super central, and having the Metro right there made getting around Paris so easy. We never felt far from anything — whether we were heading to the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, or just wandering around for coffee and pastries. It made the whole trip feel effortless. The hotel itself is beautiful but still feels cozy. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet — which is huge after long days of walking all over the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we actually looked forward to coming back and relaxing each night. The staff was warm and helpful without being over the top. Everyone was welcoming and made us feel at home. Between the central location and easy Metro access, it truly was the perfect place to stay in Paris. Would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
