Really nice concept. The people who worked the evening I was visiting were very nice. I told the waiter my likings and he suggested some extra things so I could say yes or no. The cocktail itself was nicely balanced and exactly how I like my whiskey sours. The only part that I was missing was a description of the outcome of the cocktail. Now I had to taste everything with my own experience, that also could be nice, but I was just really interested. The waiter already walked away when I wanted to ask. But further or less, would visit again!
After three years, I'm back at one of my favorite bar concepts in Paris. And as usual, the mix I had was perfectly what I described. If you haven’t tried bisou yet, you’re missing out. And if you like boring traditional cocktails you’d better not come
The best cocktails we had in Paris! We went back twice and each time the cocktails made for us were super creative and delicious. I love the atmosphere and ambiance, and especially the service. Everyone working there was so friendly and accommodating. That really made the experience.
This place is brilliant! All drinks are created based on a few questions that you answer that makes everything feel so personalised. The staff are super in helping navigate flavours and ingredients too and are friendly. All the drinks we had were fantastic, some of the best tasting cocktails I have had in my life so far and I cannot recommend Bisou enough for people who fancy a good drink with a good view of the canal!!
I appreciate the founders for this interesting concept of cocktail bar without menu. However, this is more suited for people who know a thing or two about alcohol and are able to describe better what they like because you will be asked to make the cocktail together. So for people like me who don't drink much, this might not be the best place and hence my rating are an outlier. Sorry bisou! If you're someone who's fine with anything new then this place might still be good and worth a try. In my experience, I was only asked which one spirit I like and if i would prefer bitter or sweet. I was served basically Moscow mule in a regular glass - one of the few cocktail name I remember although i hadn't mentioned it there. I would have preferred if the server could have asked or described a bit more. my friend's drink was more juice because she said sweet. As for the ambience, we found it crowded in small seating space. again, while I get the positive intention of the founders for not making this place require to book in advance but it comes with the said downside in a crowded city.
