Loved it. Booked a room with balcony to celebrate our wedding anniversary & ordered a bottle of champagne. That was on the bed with rose petals when we arrived & was lovely.all staff were really nice. Had breakfast in the room on our balcony the next morning and was copious. Location great also
Perfect location and wonderful service! The room got a bit hot and stuffy sometimes -- even in the winter -- but that is to be expected in Europe. We could easily walk to Sainte Chapelle, Notre Dame, and the Louvre. The elevator is cramped, but we never really had any issues with it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; they would speak French with me and compliment my speaking when I wanted to practice, but they also were happy to switch to English. We arrived a few hours before check-in and expected to just store our luggage there while we went sightseeing, but the staff insisted on rushing the cleaning of our room so we could freshen up and get settled. I highly recommend this hotel, and I plan to stay here again my next time in Paris.
A Wonderful First Stay in Paris — Highly Recommend Hôtel Britannique! We recently stayed at Hôtel Britannique during our first-ever trip to Paris, and it made the experience truly special. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the location couldn't have been better — just minutes on foot from major tourist attractions and the metro, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. What really set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. Nicole, Sultana, Adelina, and Léon were all wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sultana, who went above and beyond when my wife wasn't feeling well and arranged a late check-out for us without hesitation. That kind of thoughtfulness made a real difference during a stressful moment and turned it into a non-issue. Between the prime location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service, this was the perfect base for our first Paris adventure. We're already looking forward to staying at Hôtel Britannique again on our next visit!
This is a lovely boutique hotel. The location is great. We easily walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre and other local attractions. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is offered for a fee and it was well worth it. We ate a big breakfast there every morning and then just had a snack for lunch. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby for dinner.
Beautiful rustic historical hotel. Still kept its character and charming past. I would recommend this to family and friends. If you can, get the 5th floor room with the tiny balcony, but usable. Decorative, make you fell like your really in France. Wifi was fast, felt like 5g. Yes, all the front desk staffs speak English, better than most American! They were soo nice and friendly; real friendly not the fake friendly you get at the airlines counter. Location is perfect, close to the RBR, metro, river boat taxi, walking distance to all the attractions and night life. My 1st time in Paris, Love it ! I was here in March, the slow season, not too many tourists, weather sunny all week. I was lucky people said. Bonjour !
