Wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, and all our special requests arranged in advance were taken care of down to the very last detail.
We came here for my bachelorette and stayed in 3 seperate rooms. The rooms are good, beds are comfortable and the toilets are good as well. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for public transport, partying, restaurants etc. Things are quite close going by public transport or even by Uber/taxi.
I stayed here for 7 nights and 8 days, and overall, I am very satisfied. At first, I was a bit worried because the hotel is located near an entertainment district, but it didn't feel that way at all. In fact, it felt safer because there were plenty of people around even late at night. Also, convenience stores, restaurants, buses, and subways are all very close by, making it super convenient to get around and visit tourist spots. Most of all, Moulin Rouge was so close that I was able to book a show and watch it, which was an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, the air conditioner worked great, and the front desk staff was always friendly.
Very clean, front desk helpful. Location great, lots of restaurants and shops in neighborhood. In house breakfast seemed expensive. A/C good!
Overall, the stay was disappointing. The WiFi was unreliable, and even after following instructions to switch off our phones and reconnect, it still did not work. In today’s context, stable connectivity is a basic expectation — particularly in a hotel — and this was a significant letdown. Our request for rooms on the same floor or in close proximity was not accommodated, as we were assigned rooms across different floors and even separate buildings, which was highly inconvenient. The lift was also extremely small, barely fitting one person with a 26-inch suitcase, making it difficult to move around comfortably with luggage. My room felt stuffy and had an unsettling layout — it was located at the end of a corridor, followed by an enclosed passage with a riser door that would not close properly before reaching the main room. As a solo female traveler, this setup felt uncomfortable and unsafe, especially with no in-room telephone to contact reception if needed. Rooms with such layouts would be more appropriate for groups of two or three rather than assigning them to a single occupant. The two positive aspects of the stay was its locality to shops and one genuinely friendly male staff member. Otherwise, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
