Looks do not deceive. This place is absolutely amazing. Everything was the best combo of flavors, from the apps to the dessert. The best meal of many great french meals.
We are so lucky to find this at our first day to Paris, one of the best dishes we had in life! The vibe is elegant, chill, full of the cozines of French.
the lunch set menu is a steal! great value. however the main of the day was not memorable to me-- it was a pork belly cassoulet, and I didn't feel like the flavours were very balanced or innovative. since they swap it out though, maybe other days are better? the best thing was the chocolate dessert, I would go back only for that. the rest was just okay. BREAD WAS WARM(!!) and fantastic-- they said they get it from a bakery down the street atmosphere was very intimate and well decorated.
We had the 3-course dinner. the entrees were good but nothing special (beetroot tartlet, trout tartare) the main courses were perfect! duck fillet (so juicy) with foie gras with rich succulent duck sauce. the 2nd was succulent scallops with purple potatoes puree. deserts were also amazing - citrus pavlova (great textures) and surprising brownie (again, great sauce) wine - only 10$ per glass, great VFM for a Michelin mentioned restaurant music - 70's soul, like Curtis Mayfield, created great atmosphere great service. VFM - 2x 3 course dinner, 3 wine glasses + tip - 170 euros
We had a wonderful meal at Bombance. Every single dish was delicious — there honestly wasn’t a single course we didn’t enjoy. Both my friend and I loved the entire experience from start to finish. The desserts were especially refreshing and well balanced, a perfect way to end the meal. The pricing felt very reasonable for the quality and care put into the food. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. Highly recommended — definitely a place worth trying.
