Came for Sunday brunch and it was absolutely spectacular! The interior, the staff (especially Vega—she is incredible and so hopeful) and of course the food… I don’t need to eat the rest of the day. An absolute must eat brunch in Paris!

Generally a disappointed last dinner I have in Paris. Food was generally good - chicken was tender, mash potatoes was done right and seasonal vegetables were fresh. The Tiramisù was so-so. The cocktail was okay but I’d say it lacks depth. But the services could be improved, I was sitting there by myself ready to order, but surprised to find the couple sitting next to me who were still discussing over the menu got the attention before I did. No one came to check if I wanted a coffee at the end. The army of staff walked past me numerous times but no one cared to check on me. Not sure if it is because I was a single customer or someone doesn’t speak french (though I did see another table of two young British ladies who got constant attention from the staff through out the dinner) I would not recommend if you are travelling alone or looking for warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience at the Boubale from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the evening even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Marion for the exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely well looked after throughout the meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and outstanding hospitality.

We stopped for an afternoon meal after a day walking tour of The Marais area of Paris. Great timing, not very busy. The space is just beautiful, do take the time to walk around and take in all of the unique design elements. The food was also very good, so kudos to the kitchen. Our lunch started well, with a nice welcome and a fairly normal seating and ordering experience. We were surprised the waiter opened and poured a 10 Euro bottle of still water as we sat down, unordered as far as we know (we are fine with carafes of tap water). The wine prices were fairly standard, but the pours were very "slight", as a friend said. Our appetizers came and went, and then we sat. The waiter never returned. We noticed a group or two that arrived after us was served before us. We had to ask about our main course. I don't know how but our waiter had totally forgotten about our table. The order finally went in, and our mains courses appeared. As they were served he asked us if we would like any of their "special" bread. Of course! It had to be baked, and came after we had finished eating. There never was an explanation, a mild apology as we paid and left. A 60-75 minute lunch turned into 3 hours. We ate at many cafes this trip to Paris, and this was the worst. I hope you have better luck.
