This restaurant is so nice! Small, intimate, the chef and the waiter are super kind and nice, I found it randomly just passing by while looking for a place to it and I had to stop! The menu and wine choice is French, and the plates are actually quite big!! I couldn’t finish them 🥲 Very well done to the owner and chef!!! Amazing job! Highly recommend
C'est Comme à la Maison translates to "It's Like Home," and for me, that couldn't be more true. Every visit feels warm, familiar, and deeply meaningful. Chef Mathieu is incredibly talented and generously shares family recipes, stories, and a genuine sense of hospitality. The restaurant is small, warm, and full of heart. Nothing about it feels pretentious. Everything comes from a place of generosity, authenticity, and love. Every dish reflects the richness of French culinary tradition and is prepared with extraordinary care. There is meaning behind everything Chef Mathieu serves, and you can feel the passion in every plate. For me, dining here means much more than enjoying exceptional food. Somehow, it brings me back to my grandmother Eva's kitchen, to the warmth, love, and care that only food prepared from the heart can convey. One of the most beautiful things about this place is watching the other guests. You see people closing their eyes, smiling, and savoring every bite. It's a room full of people who truly appreciate food, and there is something deeply moving about sharing that experience with them. Every time we visit Paris, coming here is one of the first things we plan, often several times for lunch or dinner. Thanks to Chef Mathieu's talent, generosity, and gift in the kitchen, C'est Comme à la Maison has become part of our Paris story and a place we look forward to returning to every single time. Mathieu, merci pour tout. Tu nous manques déjà, et nous avons hâte de revenir. One question to Google: how do I give C'est Comme à la Maison more than five stars?
I wish we lived in Paris so we could visit this amazing restaurant all the time! We enjoyed the rabbit in mustard sauce, saag paneer, and three cheese plate and mousse for dessert - all exceptionally delicious. The wine was very good as well. The restaurant truly makes you feel at home as the name suggests. The waiter and chef were magnificent, and the atmosphere feels relaxed, friendly, and warm. We are so glad we made a reservation to dine here during our vacation in Paris. A very well deserved 5 star review, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody!
Came here for dinner with a reservation. The moment you step in, the waiter and Chef Mathieu were so kind and welcoming that you felt right at home. The smoked herring had a great smoky and salty flavor. The onions were nicely caramelized and the potatoes were fork tender and soft and creamy. The beets tasted very fresh and the added egg whites added some color without taking anything away from the beet flavor. The chicken curry had mild curry flavor that paired well with the white rice. However, there were chunks of very spicy peppers throughout the dish, so be careful if you cannot tolerate spiciness! The chicken itself was very tender and juicy. The pork stew was extremely tasty. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was creamy and delicious with a mild mustard flavor. The flageolet beans were also so creamy and became my new favorite bean. I appreciated the fact that both main dishes were intentionally seasoned with little to no salt, but still tasted very flavorful due to the combination of other ingredients utilized in the dishes. The coconut pudding was perfect for any coconut lovers. The bottom of the dish comprised of a very moist pudding and the top contained a very generous helping of coconut flakes. A very sweet and satisfying end to a perfect meal.
C’est Comme à la Madison is truly a hidden gem in Paris! The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed into a cozy and warm atmosphere that makes you instantly feel at home. The space is intimate, full of charm, and perfect for both a relaxed lunch or a special dinner. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish bursts with flavor and feels carefully crafted with love and creativity. Chef Mathieu is not only incredibly talented but also very friendly, making the experience even more personal and memorable. And I can’t forget to mention Emma, who is wonderfully attentive and welcoming. Her kindness and professionalism really elevate the whole dining experience. This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Paris, and I know I’ll be coming back again and again. Just a word of advice: don’t forget to make a reservation! The restaurant is small, and with such high demand for both lunch and dinner, tables go quickly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended — an unforgettable Parisian dining experience!
