We had a really good experience here. We ordered the fish and chips, and two of us got the steak. The steaks were cooked well and were honestly really good. The fish and chips were also enjoyable, although I do wish the tartar sauce was better or that there were a few more sauce options because it didn’t quite do it for me, and I wasn’t a fan of eating the fish plain. The seating was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the coffee was a nice way to finish the meal. Our waiter was also very friendly. We asked for ice with our drinks, and at first we were told they needed to save it for the hospitals, which was a pretty confusing conversation. Thankfully, he ended up bringing us extra ice anyway, which I really appreciated since I love my ice! Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily come back.
We had lunch here during our visit to Versaille. La Flotille was an excellent choice, we were satisfied with the food and we loved the atmosphere. Service was polite and courteous, at the same time kind and very attentive. We tried the cod steak with a refreshing white wine and the Tarte Tatin. We sat down at around 11:30, and it was easy to find seats but it became very crowded later. We haven't made reservations beforehand. I would definitely eat here again, it was a great experience.
We visited during a Paris heatwave, and despite the intense temperatures, the large covered patio provided plenty of shade and stayed surprisingly comfortable. Paired with a chilled glass of wine, it was the perfect place to cool off. It's an excellent spot to stop for a meal or drink after exploring the gardens or enjoying a boat ride. The service was warm and attentive, the staff were friendly, and the setting is absolutely beautiful. A wonderful place to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
This restaurant was a highlight of my trip to Versailles. The food was delicious, and the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. They always checked to see if we were enjoying our meal. We visited on 25th June when the weather was very hot, and their service was truly attentive. Thank you, and I wish your shop continued success and plenty of customers. Great experience! We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away. All the food was quite good especially in such a tourist heavy place. Fish and chips, pork belly, steak, and beef tartare were all great. Green beans side was also quite good. Service was great and very fast - probably the fastest we got at any sit down French restaurant around Paris. Wonderful atmosphere as well!
