This lovely hotel is my home away from home in Paris. I have been staying at the hotel Saint Louis en l isle for several years. All the receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and it’s air conditioned. The owners are always improving the hotel- they now have espresso machines in the superior and deluxe rooms. The breakfast is delicious too. I highly recommend the hotel.
We booked 3 nights but stayed 2 and loved our experience there. The 3d night was actually an early morning arrival that allowed us to check in at 8am, have breakfast, a nap, then start our day. Everything was wonderful, staff, room, cleanliness, and lovely breakfast options. We also used the breakfast room for a quick lunch with sandwiches we bought down the street. Loved, loved the location. Taking a short walk to the end of the street and seeing Notre Dame was amazing, less than a half mile away. The restaurants near the hotel are great and had all we wanted. Can’t wait to stay here again. Thanks for our lovely visit!
This is a boutique kind of hotel and it is simple in the amenities it offers. However, you have so much around you it doesn't matter. The staff were excellent. I booked an airport pickup which was a blessing. The room was small but comfortable and clean. From memory it was 4th floor and the window opened to a balconette with a view. There was no outside noise. The hotel is easy walking distance to Notre Dame, San Chapelle, the Marais district and not too far to the Louvre. Anything else is a taxi, but I really liked this little hotel. I walked around a lot at night on my own and felt completely safe.
This was our third time in Paris and this was our favorite location. You can walk to the right bank, the left bank, Notre Dame, everything is close by. Staying on the island was a fantastic experience. The hotel was absolutely charming! The building is historical and the hotel captured this in their decor. The rooms and bathrooms were tastefully decorated. The entire staff (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast staff) were profressional, friendly, knowledgable about the area. They offered great tips on ubers, taxis, restaurants, things to do, etc. It is just an extremely well run hotel and yes, the quirkiness adds to the charm. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Paris. We will be back! :)
Beautiful and rustic with parisian elegance. Located just steps away from wonderful restaurants. It's quiet and romantic at night, away from street noise and crowds. Exceptional service with a polite and helpful staff. The breakfasts in the cellar with old world charm was delightful! Book the 5th floor rooms for a quaint, roof top balcony.
