The hotel is very well located if you want to stay in the Marais. However, pay close attention to the room you book. I reserved a room that was supposedly for two people, but it was extremely small. Only one person could open a suitcase at a time. In practice, it felt like a room designed only for sleeping, unless you’re traveling with a backpack or a very small suitcase. I also felt that the reception staff could have been more helpful with luggage assistance at the entrance.
Our stay was wonderful, and a huge part of that was the front desk gentleman who worked during the day on May 31 and June 1. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. He even allowed us to see the room before booking to make sure it would comfortably fit us and our baby, and when we arrived, the pack-and-play was already set up and ready to go. Every time we walked through the doors, he greeted us warmly and always took a moment to try to make our baby laugh. We also enjoyed chatting with him about Paris and his travels, which made the experience feel personal and genuine. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests. We loved the hotel overall, but he was undoubtedly the biggest reason our stay was so memorable.
Truly my top favorite place to stay while visiting Paris. The location is perfect and the staff is amazing, from Ishmael and the other front office staff to the lovely woman who kept our room tidy. Thank you for an amazing stay, again and we will see you soon!
A Wonderful Boutique Hotel Experience We had a fantastic stay at Hôtel Maison Saintonge. The hotel has a charming boutique atmosphere that made our trip to Paris feel even more special. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. What truly stood out was the kindness and professionalism of the staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is also excellent, surrounded by lovely cafés, restaurants, and beautiful streets to explore. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Paris.
