If you could tick 100 stars it would meet that easily. Lunch was superb and matched by the high standard of service and engaging staff. What a truly amazing experience and for us, the absolute highlight of our 2 weeks here. We experienced the Chefs Selection 5 course luncheon. The dishes presented with such flare and the flavours lingered on the palette. We can’t thank you all enough.
We were there for a celebration and I had not been there before but my partner was there in the 70's. It was seemles. Everything happened with out you noticing. The whole menue was explained wines were matched perfectly. We were offered the bar on the roof to have our last drinks and it was amazing.
The afternoon unfolded with the kind of quiet excellence that defines true haute cuisine, made even more extraordinary by a sweeping view of Paris. Each course was executed with precision and restraint, allowing the ingredients to speak with clarity. The flavors were balanced with intention—never showy, always confident. Service moved with effortless grace, through each course, attentive without hovering, and the pacing was impeccable. This is fine dining at its most refined—an experience where the cuisine, the service, and the view of Paris come together in perfect harmony.
This was our 2nd visit to La Tour d’ Argent, 1st time pre-renovation and post renovation today. Loved the while experience from pre-drinks in the bar downstairs, elevator to the restaurant with stunning views to the Seine and Notre Dame. Food and wine were amazing and service professional and efficient. My only complaint would be the comfort of the chairs. The hard rattan back on the back of the chair was very uncomfortable and hurt my back every time I leaned back on it.
This restaurant was spectacular. I’ve been to dozens of Michelin-rated restaurants, and this one truly stood out. It has major historical significance as the oldest restaurant in France and has served countless world leaders and famous guests. The food was excellent, especially the duck. Special shoutout to the staff who assisted us, and to Syrine, who was incredibly helpful, respectful, personable, and great to chat with. I will definitely be back.
