Hotel De La Cité Rougemont

The location is perfect 👌 The only problem with the hotel was that two of the three nights we spent there, I couldn't sleep properly because of next to no sound proofing from the corridor (and also other rooms?), and noisy guests waking me up both late in the evening and early in the morning. And to me that is quite a big problem, as the main thing I want from a hotel is good night's sleep. Otherwise the room was good enough for a two start hotel: spacious and clean, and the shower was good. A bit shabbiness and no view was acceptable for the price.
I recently stayed in this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. This rooms are small but functional. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent being just a short walk from 2 different metro lines. The area has plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops and is very close to the Passages Jouffrey, Panorama and Verdeau. I would definitely return here on a future trip to Paris.
Stayed here for a weekend break for my daughters birthday. It's easy to find and I thought the location was brilliant. I had previously booked another hotel but the reviews for that hotel said it had bed bugs, so we changed to this hotel. No bed bugs here. The only downside to the room was being next to the lift. Which can be quite loud at times. But I think thats more to do with other guests than anything. All the major attractions are a short 20 minutes or so metro ride away and the hotel itself, is located on the other side of a well populated street of cafés, bar's and restaurant's. With some other options such as museums ect. We'd happily stay here again.
Quiet hotel on a quiet street. The rooms are dated, but the service and general neighborhood are not so this is a worthwhile spot. Ours came with a nice balcony. Worth it if you want to be near pretty much everything.
Great little hotel. The value for money was brilliant. Can’t fault the hotel for the price that we paid, yes it is quite basic, but for a sightseeing trip in Paris when you don’t spend much time in the hotel it is ideal. The room and general hotel was clean and tidy and rooms serviced in a daily basis, bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a great spot close to the metro and a very short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. We walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to go to from the hotel so we could explore more of Paris. The guys behind reception provide great service and are very helpful, they also have a shuttle bus service that can take you to the airport for a cheaper rate than you would pay for a taxi. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and maybe some bottled water, but it’s not an issue, that is the only improvement I would make. All in all, a wonderful stay and we will definitely look at staying again if we ever visit Paris again.
