Hôtel Mercure Paris Opéra Louvre
Paris
Recensioner
I chose Mercure Paris Opéra Louvre because I was moving around Paris most of the time and wanted a well-located 4-star hotel close to the Louvre Museum and many major attractions. The location is definitely its biggest advantage. The hotel itself is a bit dated and feels more like a 2–3 star property by today’s standards. As an Accor ALL Platinum member, I was upgraded to a more spacious room and enjoyed complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was decent, although not as varied as what you would typically find at hotels in Asia. One downside for me was the room size. I’m used to staying in more spacious hotels, so I found the room quite cramped. The shower water pressure could also be stronger. Overall, it’s a good choice if you value location over luxury, especially for a short stay in Paris.
The hotel is in a prime location and the staff are very hospitable. My stay was very comfortable. Just a heads-up for those with large luggage—be prepared as it might be a tight fit. Highly recommended for the service and convenience.
I stayed in one of the "Privilege" Rooms, which was a decent size. Interior was up-to-date except for a chair that was useless unless you're a child. Pillows great Mattress terrible. So soft that I never slept well. Housekeeping great and friendly. Front desk kind. Very good breakfast.
Check in staff were helpful with keeping luggage so I could explore until my room was ready, advice on getting around and booking taxis. The location was good for the things we wanted to see. I loved the character of the hotel, the room was a good size and the bed really comfortable.
