Great French restaurant. Snails and veal were super delicious!
Immaculate service all round. Friendly, impeccably polite. Very high quality cocktails, I particularly enjoyed the Manhattan. Great house wine with helpful guidance from waitress in order to select the proper wine. As for the food, everything was incredible. Familiar flavours and ingredients, but almost every dish has a kind of unexpected twist to it that brought it to the next level. I had a butternut squash soup to start, made with roast chestnuts and a poached egg inside, served with high quality bread. I did not expect the egg in that presentation, but it was incredible and brought the soup to the next level. For the main, I ordered a beef roast with carrots and sweet potato. The sweet potato was some of the best I've ever consumed; the carrots added a splash of colour and glazed in a lovely way; the roast itself could have been cut with a fork and covered in a delicious red wine sauce. For dessert I had the french toast with chocolate and ice cream. Literally melted in my mouth. I will also say that this is probably the best value I've ever had for a meal that nice. This is also the kind of place every generic tourist would always walk straight past but this is an experience you cannot miss.
Very calm and romantic ambience, with lovely and attentive staff. Dishes are prepared meticulously and are obviously very well done. Perfect for a calm date, in a great location.
