Our first real cafe meal in Paris as a family and we greatly enjoyed it. French onion soup is delicious; steak au poivre very tasty if a little rare; yummy croque madame. Our waiter was awesome and very attentive. Would recommend!
Perfect! Relaxed and comfortable. Pleasantly busy. Excellent service! The onion soup is divine. Entrees were fabulous. We loved the suggested wines. Our chef de rang, Zack, is multilingual and we were able to have fun and get our questions answered. Great spot we just happened to pop in to.
Marie Belle was an unexpected surprise as we came here mainly by default - close to our hotel and was open for an early dinner. We were greeted and seated right away. Service was great and efficient, although one order came out incorrectly, mistakes happen. We were still very satisfied with our dinner and overall experience at Marie Belle and would recommend to anyone in the area to check them out - especially around late lunch/early dinner time when they’re open but not super busy.
The ambiance at Marie Belle is warm and inviting, with attentive and welcoming service. The food came out within a reasonable time, not too fast, not too late. We ordered the flank steak with fries, which was juicy and complemented nicely by the sauteed onions. The fries were crispy and well-cooked, though I found the steak a bit underseasoned. The highlight, however, was the dessert, the creme brulee was absolutely perfect, with a real vanilla flavor and a beautifully crisp sugar top. One small mismatch was the music choice; the rap playlist didn’t quite fit the cozy, flower-filled setting with its soft warm lights. Overall, a lovely dining experience with great service and a dessert worth coming back for. OUR SERVER - AMER (5/5 - Excellent service)
