First experience at a two star Michelin restaurant and it was a success! Highly recommend to others.
A wonderful restaurant with varoius vegetables and leafs! It’s really amazing experience with new recipes. All time favorites! Paired wine is good as well.
We had a lunch of two persons. David Toutain is one of those restaurants where everything just works. The room is modern and elegant, and the service is calm and attentive. The food is the real highlight — creative, precise, and full of subtle surprises without ever feeling overdone. It’s a two Michelin star experience that feels well deserved. A meal you remember long after leaving. Definitely one of the must-try spots in Paris.
I had dinner at David Boutin and, while the food was delicious overall, the biggest disappointment was the tableware used for the green asparagus course. The plate had large chips on two sides, which was very noticeable. For a 2 Michelin-star restaurant, attention to detail is expected, and seeing damaged tableware was surprising and immediately affected my impression of the dining experience. The service also felt somewhat uncoordinated. There appeared to be a limited number of English-speaking service staff, and several dishes were served without any explanation. We often had to wait for an English-speaking crew member to come over and describe the dish, which interrupted the flow of the meal. That said, the food itself was enjoyable and well executed. The dishes were flavorful and showcased the skill and creativity expected from a fine dining restaurant. However, the issues with service coordination and the chipped plate made the overall experience feel less polished than what I would expect from a 2 Michelin-star establishment.
We came to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday, and it was an exceptional experience! The service was absolutely outstanding! ☺️ The staff explained every course with great care and attention, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was perfect. The food was incredible - beautifully presented, creative, and full of unique flavors. We are truly grateful to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality and for making this celebration memorable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
