Your day begins with a visit to Pointe du Hoc, one of the most strategic sites of the Allied landings, where American Rangers scaled the cliffs under heavy fire on June 6th 1944.
Continue to Omaha Beach, the most famous landing beach, where American forces faced intense resistance during the Normandy landings.
Pay tribute at the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville sur Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach. Walk among more than 9,000 white crosses and Stars of David, honoring the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Battle of Normandy. The site also features a memorial, a chapel, and the Garden of the Missing.
Visit Arromanches sur Mer, home to the remains of the artificial Mulberry Harbour used by the Allies to supply troops after the landings. Enjoy a gourmet lunch featuring Normandy specialties such as crêpes and cider.
