Your licensed expert guide meets you at Javel Métro in Paris (Line 10) and travels with you on the RER C to Versailles. The 30–35 minute journey isn't dead time - your guide sets the scene, the politics, the mythology and the sheer audacity of what Louis XIV built.
On arrival, use your timed, pre-booked tickets to enter the Palace via the group entrance. Your guide leads a 90-minute tour through the Royal Chapel, the King's Grand Apartment, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Queen's Apartments - every room given the context and stories it deserves.
After the palace, step out onto the terrace for a guided introduction to the Gardens - André Le Nôtre's masterplan, the Grand Canal, the Fountain Basins and the Sun King's symbolism embedded throughout. Your guide then orients you fully for independent exploration: best routes to the Trianons, what to see, how long to allow, and how to make your way back to Paris.
