Description
The proposed itinerary covers the main sights of Paris, for a complete and unforgettable experience. We'll start on the Historic Axis of Paris, where you'll find the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées, the Petit and Grand Palais, the Pont Alexandre III (the most beautiful bridge in Paris), Place de la Concorde (where the last French kings met their end), the Church of the Madeleine (the church that Napoleon had built for his armies), and the Tuileries Garden. We'll finish on the Île de la Cité, at the foot of Notre-Dame de Paris, where the City of Light was born.
The entire itinerary is done on foot, at a light and leisurely walking pace, as this is the best way to get to know Paris. Stops for restrooms or coffee/snacks are scheduled. Longer journeys, when necessary, will preferably be made by metro, as it is the fastest way to get around the city.
Includes
Guided city tour along the Historic Axis of Paris, starting at the Trocadéro - Eiffel Tower - and continuing to the main sights of Paris. It will end at Notre-Dame de Paris. The city tour is led by a guide and historian who is an expert in the history of Paris and France.
