Description

The Opera Garnier, inaugurated in 1875 and designed by Charles Garnier, is the largest opera house in Europe and a prime example of Second Empire architecture. Its eclectic Baroque style features intricate details such as the bronze “Pythonisse” sculpture and the grand double stairway called the “Grand Escalier.” Visitors can enjoy richly decorated foyers with mosaics, marble columns, and gold-leaf finishes that highlight the building’s luxurious design.

After booking, you will receive a digital ticket to show at the entrance. Note that rehearsals may cause unpredictable closures of the performance hall, and tickets do not guarantee access to performances.

Reduced rates and free tickets are available on the Paris Opera website for valid adult non-residents or non-citizens of the European Economic Area upon presenting proof.
