Depart your Paris hotel and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Colleville Cemetery. Here, you will see the rows of gravestones representing the American soldiers who died during the landings. The cemetery’s visitor center provides detailed information about Operation Overlord.
Next, visit Omaha Beach, located just below the cemetery. This beach was the site of intense combat and was nicknamed the 'Bloody Beach.' You will then stop at Arromanches, a coastal town that was a priority target during the invasion. Your driver will recommend restaurants where you can have lunch independently.
The tour concludes at Pointe du Hoc, a former German fortification captured by Colonel Rudder’s Rangers on June 6, 1944. The site has been maintained to reflect the battle’s history and impact. Afterward, you will return to Paris.
