Description
Visit an ancient private mansion housing a unique collection of vintage fragrance bottles. The museum transports you to the Second Empire era while exploring over three thousand years of perfume history. Learn about the origins of raw materials from Grasse, ancient fragrant objects, and the techniques used in historical perfumery.
The museum’s second section showcases artistic and goldsmith works, including rare bottles from the era of the pharaohs to Fabergé, reflecting historical social and cultural habits. After a 20-minute guided visit, you’ll explore the history, origin, and cultural significance of a special flower used in perfumery.
The workshop enhances sensory and olfactory memory by explaining the olfactory pyramid, followed by identifying three mixed compositions featured in the Eau de Toilette “Flor del Year.” Under expert guidance, you will create and personalize your own 12ml spray Eau de Toilette.
