Description

Enjoy a comfortable, round-trip shuttle from Paris to the Palace of Versailles with a multilingual host. You will board at one of three Paris departure points and meet your guide there. Upon arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage site, your host escorts you to the main entrance to begin your visit.

Explore the Château at your own pace using an audio guide available in 13 languages via an app download. We recommend bringing your own headphones. During garden show season (April to October), entrance to the fountain and musical garden shows is included.

The ticket grants access to the Palace, including the Hall of Mirrors, Royal Apartments, and Gallery of Battles; the Trianon Estate with Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon, Queen’s Hamlet, and their gardens; temporary exhibitions; the Gallery of Coaches (weekends only); the Royal Tennis Court; the Gardens; and the Park.

After touring the Palace, you may visit the perfume museum free of charge for 20 minutes to learn about the history of perfume in France. Note this is optional and not available on Sundays.

Discover how Versailles transformed from Louis XIII’s hunting lodge into the royal residence of Louis XIV. Wander through the ornate State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, then explore the formally landscaped gardens featuring sculptures and fountains designed by André Le Nôtre.

Your entrance tickets can be downloaded starting at noon the day before your visit at http://tickets.magicways.fr/. Arrival time at Versailles is approximately 10:45 AM, and the return to Paris is scheduled for 3:45 PM, subject to traffic.

From November to March, garden shows do not operate, but the gardens remain open to explore.
