Description
The Musée d'Orsay, housed in the former Gare d'Orsay railway station, contains one of France’s largest national art collections. The museum’s main focus is on Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, along with sculptures, photographs, and decorative arts. Highlights include Renoir’s Dance at le Moulin de la Galette, Cézanne’s Apples and Oranges, and Van Gogh’s self-portraits.
This ticket grants access to the permanent collection and current temporary exhibitions without a timed entry for the latter.

This exhibition showcases the work of John Singer Sargent, a leading American painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Known for portraits such as Portrait of Madame X, it aims to raise awareness of his work in France during the exhibition period.

Important Information
- Large bags are not permitted; luggage up to 56 x 45 x 25 cm can be stored onsite.
- Late opening rate applies on Thursdays for visits from 6pm; museum closes at 9:45pm with last entry at 9pm.
- Ticket valid for one entry on the specified date and time; you may stay as long as you wish but cannot reenter once exited.
- Free entry on the first Sunday of each month.
- The museum is closed every Monday, May 1, and December 25.
- From March 10, 2026, to summer 2028, access is via “Entrée Quai – 1 – Visiteurs avec billet horodaté” without affecting your visit.
