This unique outdoor guided tour uses virtual reality to immerse you in different eras, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. With a live guide, you will explore the Cour Carrée, Cour Napoléon III, and the Tuileries Garden.
Wearing a virtual reality headset, you will discover the medieval fortress that the Louvre once was, experience the Renaissance district near the Louvre, and witness a key event of the French Revolution. Century after century, watch the Louvre and its surroundings change, and see the Palais des Tuileries appear through history.
The tour combines real surroundings and virtual reconstructions, returning you to the present to help compare existing buildings with those that have disappeared. This experience offers a new perspective on one of Paris’s most historically transformed buildings.
