Astra Opera is the place to go in Paris, especially during a heat wave! Rooms had excellent A/C. Major bonus is daily re-stocked complimentary mini bar. Every day from 2pm-2am stocked with complimentary snacks like cakes, chips, tarts, sodas, dried fruits, olives, etc in lobby to fill up on. 24/7 espresso drinks available. Lovely gym and spa area that was lovely to relax at in the evenings. Breakfast in morning had large variety of options, including gluten free items. Location is fabulous and very close to metro station. Very safe location, felt comfortable walking alone as a woman in this area. With your hotel keycard you are able to go and visit other Astotels and use the amenities(snacks, toilets, drinks) which we loved when we were out and about exploring in different areas of Paris, especially with the heat. Overall, staying at Astotel Opera made our stay in Paris extremely comfortable and enjoyable. More amenities and hospitality than most 5 star hotels.
Our stay at Hotel Astra Opéra was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring Paris. The rooms were comfortable, and every member of the staff was welcoming and professional. A very special thank you to Massi, whose hospitality was truly beyond words. He went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His genuine warmth, kindness, and dedication to every guest are rare to find. The level of customer service he provides is simply outstanding and exceeds that of many luxury five-star hotels. He made us feel valued, cared for, and at home throughout our stay. The complimentary snacks and drinks available in the lobby—and even the minibar in our room—were such a thoughtful touch. It made coming back after a long day of sightseeing even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety, making it a great way to start each day. Massi is the kind of person who transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. Because of him, we will gladly return to Hotel Astra Opéra and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.
We had an excellent stay here and would definitely recommend. Location was great - very walkable to Seine river, lots of shopping and food nearby, and close to RER / metro stations. Atmosphere felt authentic, the hotel and rooms were clean and actively maintained, and the pool area was a nice bonus. The best part was the service. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to resolve a minor issue with our room at check in and contributed to a great experience..
We came to Paris from Montreal and had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Astra Opéra - Astotel. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, and made our trip to Paris even more memorable. As this was my first time travelling alone with two children, I was a little nervous at first, but the team truly made the entire experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to guests made a real difference throughout our stay. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional professionalism and care shown by Massi at the front desk. During a situation that could have been handled very differently, he remained calm, respectful, attentive, and incredibly professional from beginning to end. He genuinely took the time to listen, understand, and make things right with a level of courtesy and class that is becoming rare in hospitality today. I have stayed in many high-end hotels over the years, and I can honestly say that the level of care, professionalism, and attention we received here was among the very best hospitality experiences I have had. He made us feel respected and truly valued as guests. Because of the way this situation was handled, this hotel will absolutely be our hotel whenever we return to Paris. Thank you again to Massi for turning our experience into such a positive one. We will definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this hotel to our family, friends, and loved ones.
Great hotel in a good location for getting around Paris, both by foot or transit. Front desk staff were all excellent. Great lounge/sitting area to visit with friends or for breakfast. 2 small elevators service the hotel, but we used the stairs going down most times, unless we had our luggage with us. Breakfast was an extra cost, but ample choices. Our room was an average Paris room, small but well appointed. Great shower pressure!! Beds were not that comfortable, quite hard actually, and the pillows very soft. We needed to get extra, and we normally aren't picky about that kind of thing. Our view was of a courtyard, but due to construction noise we really couldn't have the window open. That didn't bother us much, given that there was no construction at night while we were sleeping. All in all, a decent hotel in a great area.
